Just brought a eurovox 2006 max version, only had it for a few days brought it brand new, worked great untill i left it on stand by for just 4 hours (Yes only 4 hours) and I could smell something burning then when i went to turn it on it wouldnt turn on. So I turned it off at the wall try reset box, turn it back on it was in standby mode press on switch on back nothing still in stand by and that all it does now stil has red light on box but wont switch on.
it also makes a hissing noise from box like something burning but cant see anything even opened the box up and press reset button inside the box still nothing. I am thinking of getting a new one but not sure if that will do the same dont wanna kep paying £70 a time for dead boxes. Which one would u recommend getting I was looking at a nokia dbox 2 or either eurovox 2008 which is better, and can u get red button interative features o nokia box, that was the only thing i thought eurovox was a let down on as you couldnt use virgin central on it the red button program which u can pause rewind tv. |

Hi thats very cheap even for a 2006 model may have been a clone for that price try and get a 2008 max v model don't think there any clones of these yet but not 100% look to purchase off this site you be sure to get a real one + after sales service plus if your box is only few days old were's the warranty most suppliers give one if they are any good + after sales too.
