I'm having some doubts about the stability of 1.3.79. In the last couple of days my SL65/12 B1 6pin patched with Andysly's version of the EMU stopped receiving a load of channels from 19E, both FTA and encrypted.
Of course, I first suspected bad dish alignment, but I checked it out this morning with a sat finder and it's fine. Several channels came in loud and clear, such as Das Erste, ProSieben etc, but with BBC World (and several others, on a variety of transponders) there was no signal at all. I rescanned the whole of Astra 1 but the problem was just the same. Funny thing is, the level bar said about 80% but the quality bar had 0% on all the unreceivable channels. I flashed my box back to 1.3.78 and reloaded my channel list (the same one I had used with 1.3.79) and now everything is back to normal. BBC World is showing 86% L, 64% Q on an overcast, drizzly day. I can't be bothered ATM to flash my box to 1.3.79 again to see if the problem comes back, but I hope this post helps others if they encounter it. By the way, the FW I'm now using is truman_EMU_1.3.78_AMSTAR_MANDO-AUDIO-DISPLAY_COMAG_FIXED.abs Seems to clear most things with Svirac's latest keys and I'm not bothered about AU since Pr*m stopped AU-ing. I've had similar doubts. I've had episodes of the box freezing and not being able to find channels and on one occasion the channel list became scrambled. A switch on and off sorts it. I had put it down to it getting a bit hot but I've put stick-on finned memory chip heatsinks on the Ali, Hyinx and ST chips and it doesn't seem to have made any difference. So maybe it is a firmware problem.

Hello, yesterday I downloaded the patch SL65A.ZIP into my receiver and it is working well. Then I decided to download next patch into my receiver (just to see what is better): "Truman 1.3.78 revised sl65 autoscan fixed full sat list" (The patch that York is refering too).
This patch is also working well, but how do I enable the "CAS" and where do I fill in the keys? Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance. |

Try going to an encrypted channel and typing 9339 for the keys menu. You can enter keys manually with the remote or search for a softcam.key file on the internet and upload all the current keys to the box via rs232. SB.
