has virgin changed something I have lost all films etc, last weekend, only got basic channels package, scanned and still not resolved. What do I do, in basic language please, I am not that technical

Use the search button guys. This is probably the most common question on the forum.
In the meantime, unplug Dbox from the wall and see what you get when it reboots (don't just do a warm reboot).

you need to scan for the channels mate. Should be LOADS of info about this.

I’ve done everything restarted it rescanned for channels still no hope. I have a pacino image can any one fix the problem for me I live near Leeds/Bradford I am willing to pay?

my channels all gone too have rescanned about 10 times the channels are being found but when i save only seems to be the freeview that have a picture and sound the screen is just blank with all the other channels apart from the epg i still get that just no picture or sound

any help would be great

I have had this issue before resolved this by checking in the software if you have a facility to set that what area you are in and selecting the nearest area to you you
also when going to scan ensure that fast scan is swtched to off and switch keep current bouquets on

I've also lost all the channels, I have Virgin cable and in the past a scan on 6952 did the trick, but not now. How do I change the cam and ucode (and to what to)?

just unplug your box then plug back in and rescan should be ok, it always work for me
