The chip on the jtag device itself on the pcb.Ive known people to blow them also.

How many pins are on your pogo ??
Do you relaise that the pogo for the samsung cannot be used for the pace,its a completely different (smaller) pogo lead that you connect to the jtag,
The pace one is a 20 way the pace is 10 way afaik.
So the pinouts on the samsung one will not line up with the pace points at all so id say this is most likely the cause,

you will get this when the jtag cannot communicate with the stb check all connections even reboot the p.c

have you got the right pin out as there is one the same at the top of the stb you need the bottom one

i was getting an error like this i just found i have blew my jtag i replaced a few resistors and brought a chip and a chipholder just incase it happens again havnt got to resolder that much hehe and then my error was solved this might help u out i dont no lol
