Got a pogo jtag for pace 4010. connecting to the right points, using OCD or SDT 2100 in Pace mode. Keep getting the same error saying PC to Target cable disconnected.
Is there anyway to test a jtag?
I've followed numerous tuts, and still can't sort it.
any suggestions?

have you got MAC_MOT running

Power up the box first without cable connected, you should get nit on display after a few minutes, open up oc with mot running, type byte 20020004 4 that should give you ird, type byte 0f69af8 8 if your pure should be bk.

Thanks guys. Yes MAC_MOT running now, although not sure if it was before.
OCD doesn't seem to be that user friendly, well not to me. Tried what you said reddiesel, the first command doesn't really give me much, just repeats the byte with a D5 on the end.
The second one give me what looks like a BK, but mostly zero's, so can't be right.

try this m8
connect your jtag
open and run MAC_MOT driver
open ocd commander and make sure settings are
Target processor-ARM-940T
OCD interface-Wriggler
OCD speed-1
connection-LPT1
click ok
in the command window type
BYTE 2004000 ff
press enter
on line 2004000 the first 8 numbers should be your IRD and the next 16 should be your BK, ignore the last 8

thanks for the reply. still cant get it to work though. I'm convinced its my jtag. gonna take the pogo's off and solder direct to the points.

Did u purchase the jtag or make it.

The reason I asked is because I tried to make one and it didn't work.

Have you checked your printer port settings ?

my jtagpogo works on a sammy but on a pace i get the same message!
any new info m8 , its drivin me nuts

Have you got the right pace pogo end ? what message are you getting ?

this sounds daft but mine the chip was the wrong way around and i swapped it the otherway and mine worked try it
