Hi guys,
In answer to your questions - yes my brother is subsribing to Virgin and his internet access is good. His set top box (Virgin's) works really well with no channel break up at all whereas his Eurovox does. There is no fault with the Eurovox as this works perfectly well on mine with no channel breakup at all. Another memenber said in an earlier post (near the beginning of all these posts) that sometimes if there is interference on the main cable from the main green box in the street then the Eurovox box will prob get channel breakup whereas the Virgin boxes will be ok as they have been manufactured differently and can withstand bad quality. My problem is I dont know whether this is the issue or not - cannot tell as signal strength and quality is very good according. Cheers, Gary.

![]() Got it working at last!! The way I did it was to go into the grey box on the wall in the living room (this is where the live feed comes in) Inside this box was an isolator in which I removed and connected live feed to my bothers box and hey presto it worked with no picture break up at all. Because my brother has broadband I put a splitter on and again it all worked fine. Dont know what this isolator did or what it was for but taking it away made things far far better and now my brother has a box working with no picture break up at all - woooopeeee! By the way what is the purpose of an isolator and by me removing it will this cause any harm to my brothers box???? Thanks, Gary. |
