Yes it is added protection - they have been suffering DOS attacks recently.

Just put the words alsat in both logon & Password box and it will take you to the normal log on screen
 Took me ages to find that

I have to admit that on my first attempt I tried 'User' in the top box and alsat in the bottom box.
 Got it on my second attempt - but then I'm not a full shilling.
