So my eldest daughter has been nagging for a couple of months for a Nintendo DS, so tonight we had a look around online for one.
Only the Ninendo DS lite is sold out from most places. Only shops online I can find it on sale at are small independents selling at around £160+ instead of around £100 normal price. And fat chance of finding a Nintendo DS lite in pink! A Google Search brings up lots of shopping comparison sites which lead to "out of stock notices", plus the same with almost every retailer. The one place I've been able to get a Nintendo DS lite ordered online for normal price, or near enough, is Dixons which apparently still have a bundle in stock for around £120 which includes Ratatouille and some starter pack. Either way, been a fun evening, but unless Dixon's are fibbing on stock levels, hopefully we should be able to get something in on time.

Yep - but Amazon is sold out, so only the third party sites are selling from there, which means around £150+ for a DS lite.
Actually, Dixons are now showing as sold out, and my order has yet to process. This could be bad. |

Brian, take a look here, haven't ordered from them, though.

It's the Japanese version, which isn't ideal - but no worries, just found the local Woolworths has a few left in stock.

Grab one quick, then, lol. The YesAsia site has instructions to convert to English (if your woollies has actually run out by the time you get there).

Did you get one? I'd certainly be tempted (if daughter didn't have a DS) cos it's in yer hand at the till when you're handing the cash over and not half way around the world, lol.
