Default Atlantic Bird 5W

with my system I can acquire Atlantic Bird 5W and get good reception, however when I try to add a new TP 11109, V, 6111 I get no signal. Being a newbie is there a simple not so technical answer?

Regards

Eugene

Hi Robbo, yes it is a feed channel and I believe that there should be something there according to the feed site. If there should be and I can't see it have you any idea what the problem is? Is it anything to do with the dish (90cm) or the LNB. By the way how did you know it was a feed channel???

Regards

Eugene

Strange symbol rate.

Feeds tend to be transitory and are sometimes only around for a few minutes.

You'r all clever. Anyhow I have been on the feed section and on most feeds there is a 3/4 or summit. What does this mean and how do i put this into my search?

Its the Forward Error Correction ratio I believe.
The Technomates select it automatically too.

The FEC sorts out the sip lync problem. If your's is automatic as most are - then that will read lip sync problem.
