eurovox picture problem

got myself a eurovox max V 2008. I did the powerscan and got myself 300ish channels which i thought was great. The problem i have is that picture quality is poor, its like the picture is really bright and very hard to see. If the program is set in a light location it seems to make everything glow white, its the same on all channels.

when setting up the box i set the powerscan as follows

mode normal
start 300.00 mhz
stop 870.00 mhz
symbolrate 6.952 mbaud
symbolrate 6.887 mbuad
step 8

any help please, the other half is telling me i've wasted my money, lets prove her wrong

sounds like a scart lead problem m8,have a check of all your connections and try different lead/socket
when you scan change the mode from normal to full and change your start to 100 mhz to find all channels
youve probably got alot of duplicated channels

The scart lead works fine when plugged straight into my ntl box. i've also tried a full scan starting from 300mhz, got a lot of repeat channels of bbc & itv but not so many of the others. Pictures a bit better but nowhere near as good as it should be. Wondering now that it may be the scart socket!

can you try it on a different tv?

yes did that earlier with my mate, he as the same box. His box worked fine on my tv and mine was just as poor on his unfortunatly.

try doing a factory reset then rescanning
if this dosnt solve it then youve probably got a faulty box and contact your supplier
