came today ( brand new ) but cant programme it in as NO TRANSPONDER TO SCAN keeps appearing.Signal strength ( red line ) is only 8 per cent. Im really struggling here so if anyone can help ....PLEASE!

meant to say its the 2007version

Hi first are you doing a full power scan not normal. also go into menu go to config select setting's see if the software is loaded on the box already you should have some information in there report back . also are you connecting using a splitter from your broadband to the box if so you need to scan with a direct connection from the cable coming into house. if you are lucky and this finds your channels then connect it to the splitter check all above if still no luck report back here good luck.

can either of you spec me a box? i dont know which to buy. budget £100ish

Hi eurovox max v 2008 is all the rage at the moment if you dont want to go to tech easy to set up in most cases and is well supported if you get stuck just post here some one will have a answer. if you still not sure what to buy post what you have been looking at and ask the member's which one to go for good luck beware of ebay some boxes on there are clones as far as i know the above has not been cloned yet unless someone know's diffrent. You can buy off this site i think they are about £115.00 but the guy will give you good after sale's service if you get stuck .
