Angry problems with start-up, gets stuck on virgin media screen?

Hi there, new to this just need a little with my problem.

The problem is i have a ''modified box'' which was fine untill one day just would not reboot past the virgin media start up screen. any help would be very helpful.

hello and welcome to techwatch please if you have a question about cable boxes then post it in the cable box section as this is for introducing and not cable and im sure all members mods and admin will help you i have virgin media myself but know very little about cable boxes so other people will be able to help you thanks anyway

hi i want to learn how to chip it or program it myself because recently i turned it on and all the channels have all gone so i would be very grateful if so one would be able to tell me how to chip it or program it again so i have all the channels again

the ntl box frezess just display pace on the box for som reson

technovice dont no alot about this stuff but my sammy 2100 stuck on virgin start up screen earlier n i had to change the default freq to its normal 755.000 in the engineers menu n then rebooted it n worked fine after that.. hope that helps..

plzmet15 sounds like its stuck on pace mate. is it a 4001? if so i think its to do with the sim, they sagg to the front of the box n loose contact, But reddiesel will help u a lot more than me..
