Default Connection Help

I recently bought a phillips hard drive/dvd recorder and want to know the best way to set it up so I can record off all my stuff. I have a panasonic tv with 2 scarts at the back and a av input at the front a virgin box tm 1000 reciever and a freeview reciever. They all have 2 scart sockets. Is there anyway to connect them all at the same time to the recorder without messing about with scarts etc?

The DVD Recorder will probably have 1 scart input, and 1 composite input (red, white & yellow), if either of the digiboxes has composite output you can use that to connect to the recorder, if not you can buy a scart to composite lead. Alternatively if your TV will output via scart, you could connect your recorder to that (the downside being you can only record what your watching, and your TV needs to be on)
