Right this post is a bit wired but here we go lol
i have a motor dish on the side of the house with what i been told is a YAGA motor arm (sorry if not spelt right) i have the wire in the room i have a ecostar 3000ip been told that this will work it (i hope) So can anyone tell me where the colour wires go and what colour is what so i can make the thing move. It was installed by a sat man so i hopeing there is a standed wireing for them and the wires will be right in the room. Many thanks

Right fredsat, whatever you do dont just try connecting the wires.
Two of the wires are power to the jaeger motor and the other two are for the reed sensor. If you connect the power to the reed sensor, you will destry it and have to renew it. Open up the motor cover and check which coloured wires go to the reed sensor and write them down for future reference. If you have the Echostar manual it will tell you which connections to use for the motor and which for the reed sensor. If the motor goes the wrong way, East when it should go West, then reverse the moro wires. Whilst the installer should stick to standard colours I never trust them and always check for myself.
