Default Max V RF Output

Hi All,
I have a maxv in bedroom, ran cable from rf output to kids room...
Tuned telly in and found basic channels but cant seem to find maxv signal
Does the maxv box have a higher / lower rf freq that older tvs cant pick up or am I doing something elese wrong
Thanks
TM

Hiya I had that trouble some months back, was trying for a whole day and just couldnt get it to work ...why I dont know ...in the end I did get it to work by running a 10 metre scart cable from Ebay and using the AV buton on the remote for the telly (didnt know that you could press it more than once) seems it has AV 1 and AV 2 ...

I tried all sorts of ways via RF and never did get it to work, even though I prided myself on knowing about these things that feeling I got when it all came together using the scart was something else

Ive wondered since whether it might have worked via RF,using that AV button instead of all that tuning in I did (quite a few hours) all for nothing...

I have just successfully got tv around the bungalow via the rf, but i did have to go into the menus of the eurovox and change the rf channel.

Hi mate,
I can help here - its down to the rf set up on the eurovox, so go into menu/config/tv settings and scroll down to uhf mode - here you will be able to change the different settings - try each one in turn untill one works for you. If this does not work then there is a break somewhere in your rf cable feed.

Its exactly as 56912090 describes.
Go to menu
Go to configure
Tv settings
UHF settings there you will see the number that the box is outputting through RF. If you know what your local tv channels frequency numbers are then it makes life easier, ie My tv channels are BBC1 58 BBC2 64 ITV 61 CH4 54 CH5 35
My box was outputting on 35 which was clashing with ch 5 So i changed the uhf number to 67 job done. tv all around the bungalow.
Hope this helps
Maximus.

Your tv menu should have them somewhere, but failing that "google" what area transmitter sends your tv signals and it will tell you the frequencies.
Please note----We haven't yet got a freeview signal where we live so the numbers i have are for analogue.
sorry i cant be more helpful.
Maximus.

A eurovox does not have an output marked (rf output) on the back it has 1 marked (loop out) and 1 marked (TV/VCR). If you have connected to the (loop out) you will only get analogue terrestrial channels via your cable feed, and if you connect to (tv/vcr) you can tune in your tv's to the eurovox channel only. To get both you need to preferably connect your normal tv aerial to the (ant) connection or if no tv aerial is present connect a video rf lead from the (loop out) to the (ant). Also make sure that the UHF mode is set to (pal i)
