I am thinking about upgrading my sky plus box to a HD model, but at £300 and £10 a month i think this is over the top.

I have heard there is a box that turns all channels into HD is this true.

Don't bother m8, I have only watched BBC HD and this is free! Its not worth the cost and with Ch4 and ITV looking to launch HD channels on Freesat I would wait and then get yourself a good HD PVR from Topfield or Arion instead. However this is my opinion.

The standard pictures are upscaled to a better quality but they are not true HD

The SD programs on ch4 HD are good quality much better than the standard ch4 channel, But myself i have 3 sky HD receivers and i say sky HD is a waste of time on the movie channels just show repeats and discovery HD and nat geo HD and history HD have been repeating the same programs since sky hd started
