Hey guys, great site here, just stumbled on it today! I bought a sagem d-box not long ago, but the problem is, it needs updating with new codes quite often, so some of the new channels do not appear, and for every channel, instead of the listings of whats on next being displayed, i get the message "waiting for EPG". I usually give it to the guy i bought it of to update, but he is on holiday and I was hoping to watch the hatton fight this weekend.
If anyone could inform me on how to go about applying the new codes and updating it myself, it would be much appreciated. Thank you. |

Glad you like the forum, welcome.
You will find lots of information on here by using the search function, the kind of query that you have has been answered many times. When new channels are broadcast the boxes have to scan the network to pick them up, this is a manual process. I don't have the same box as you but it should be something like Service/service scan/scan for channels etc (via the remote control). It'll take up to 20 mins, after which you should have a complete line up of all available channels. Good luck. |
