Hi,
I don't know about 16000 channels, but quite a few yes. and just from the satellites that we can see from Europe, not from all over the world. American satellites for example are out of reach here in Europe. With a patchable box and a subscription to one of the foreign TV providers you should get access to a few of the premiership games yes. Have a look at this site for where and when:- *** L.J.·s LIVE Football and Sport on Satellite TV - Daily Football To do card sharing you need one of the Linux boxes, such as a Dreambox. Since I don't have one, I can't say much more on that. Another site that will tell you what channels are available from what satellite is: LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite There are footprint maps on there also, which will give you a rough guide to whether you can receive signals from a certain satellite or not, and what dish size is needed. Hi,
You don't need to card share to get footy. Most games are on Pre*, Dig* and Turksat and the keys are out there for them and for F*x, on Truksat you need nothing it is FTA. But you should be aware that this situation is not likely to last, as all the providers that are using N2 are touted to be going to change to N3 at some stage, but it is likely that even N3 will get hacke* some time, just that nobody knows when. I have a Dreambox 500s and find that it is very easy to use and update, once you get used to it. If you are any way good with a computer then you should find it no trouble at all, I find that it adds to the enjoyment to our hobby. Good luck and you will find plenty of help on here whatever you decide to do. Best regards and happy Christmas Wez |

Dunno about 16000, 3000 to 4000 would be more like it - although a lot of those are encrypted

You get 1424 on Hotbird alone so it is more than 4000, when I had a Technomate 1500 I ran out of channel space and this was after deleting all radio channels, now with my Clarke Tech I get over 6,000
