Hi all,
I noticed LIDL selling what they brand as a 'terrestrial freeview reciever' for £40. It is a Silvercrest SL35 BUT it has an RS232 on the back! Is it possible to flash it with new code to get it to do what a eurovox can? Or is it the wrong sort of tuner to take a cable signal? If it is I'm off to get 3!!! Mike

nope, the chances are that it is equipped with a dvb-T tuner and not a dvb-c tuner like the eurovox, it wont be able to handle the frequencies

Seems expensive for a freeview box - the big supermarkets sell them for around half that price.
