It's ok but a better option will prolly be the Technomate 5400 (same manufacturer) for about the same price - as the latter's support seems more assured and there are many many hobbyists owning/preferring the previous version of the 5400 i.e. the 1500. I'm sure someone else will come along with more advice soon.

I have a TM1500 CI+ Super, I dont know a lot about the TM 7755 but I think the 1000 series are better supported than the 7000 series. I would definately recommend the one I have.

The last patch for the 7000 series was back in March, so probably will be missing a few packages.
and they are built-in CAMs. The TM5400CI+ is about the same price as that and better supported, still has built in CAMS and a CAM slot.

whats better the 5400 or the 1500, i can get a 1500 with the 5 cams for 115 quid or without the cams for 75, or i can get the 5400 with no cams for 115 quid
how important are the cams , do you really need them? |

The 5400CI+ is better than the 1500 because it has a USB port for PVR capability and has 10000 channel capaity rather than 5000.
The CAMs mentioned in the ebay listing on not physical devices they are software implementations inside the receiver. The TM5400 will no doubt have them too once patched. They are for official smartcards. and the TM5400 can be got for £110 inc delivery from the site sponsor, you may be even be able to get them cheaper if you shop around.
