Default Hotbird?

Why does my receiver (Fortec Star Passion) have Hotbird as 0.1E and Astra as 0.2E when everywhere else refers to Hotbird as 13E?

Hi,
I don't know why it has them like that, but is wrong, so if you are going to motorise using USALS you will need to change them. If not, then it won't matter, as long as the transponder details are up to date.

I contacted Fortec Star in Sheffield the other day and he suggested doing a factory reset.

I did this and the receiver now has the correct locations for ALL the satellites

I have no idea where these settings came from, unless it was an ex display model in Germany or somewhere. I say Germany because the default channels are all German!!!

It looks brand new to me though, and that is what the description said so I have no reason to doubt the guy!!

Just weird ~ but it's sorted now.

Now all I need to do is get my motor to work...lol
