Skype is excellent for communicating. However, recently there has been a problem using Skype with a webcam. The recipient of the call can see you in dynamic mode ( that is, moving) and you can see the person you have called moving also, but you can't see the small image on screen of your own webcam other than in a still frame from when you connected the webcam. This is nothing to do with the webcam software but seems to be a bug in the latest version of Skype 3.6. Thought it might be of interest as I spent hours re-installing the software for my webcam and still the problem was there. Keep a lookout for an update to the Skype software and all should be well.

Problem solved by downloading an older version of Skype - I used version 3.2.0.152 and all works perfectly now.

Might just be a glitch with the new version, try again with the new one in a few months and they should have fixed it.
