Default Another Pace update

Had an e-mail this morning saying there was another update available, which would take us to V1.0.35.

Main items in this update are quoted as;

• Correction of 4:3 video display when viewing SD channels on HDMI output in some instances
• Greek language added
• Improved stability of the application
• Improved channel scanning of some satellites
• Improved handling of certain CAM modules

It's the second update in a very short timeframe and again CAM's are a feature.

No mention of the clock not working while receiver is in standby after this update. Fix one thing, break another. They are not known as "slow pace" for nothing.

I sent them an e-mail about this (the clock went AWOL with the previous update). Their response was (in reply to my asking if it could be turned back on via a menu)

"Hello
No I am afraid there is not, the clock was muted to save power and prolong the life of the display.

Best Regards
Paceshop Support
Pace Micro Technology plc"

Seems daft to me!

Pace really are full of crap. They gave that reply to me back in July when they removed it from an update. Then they put it back on with the 1.03 update and then remove it again with the last update. A display like theirs should burn for over a hundred years. I'm glad they don't make alarm clocks.
