Okay my more technically gifted friends I have what seems to be a common problem - Surround Sound set-ups.
I've set mine up but there are a few things i'm not sure about (happy about really!) I should really tell you my set up first - Tv---------------Samsung LE40N87BDX (3 HDMI ports) Surround sound-- Samsung HTTX35R 5.1 (TallBoy Speakers) - HDMI 3 Satellite--------- Sky+ HD - HDMI 1 Game Consoles--- PS3 - HDMI 2 ------------------Wii Ext 2 ![]() Didital Audio in (optical) on Surround Sound connected to Sky HD as is Aux 2 (Red and White). Should I have the optical going straight in to the TV rather than the Surround sound? ![]() How would you set it up? I use Sky more than my PS3.I much prefer to watch movies in HD and on 5.1 on Sky than hear my PS3 games in surround sound. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers (in advance!) ![]() |

Hope I've understood this - but if so, and you want the best sound quality with Sky, then you want your best connection for audio between the Sky box and the music system, with visual plugged from the Sky box to the TV??
