Hi,

Just got the box today and hooked it up. I get the GUI up and it's nice.. But i cant get any stations.

all it says it " channel not currently available" when i push the buttons to select a different channel nothing happes. I look at the front of the machine of the number just stay at 0000

just to add. when i try to search for stations it comes up " No transponder to scan" i have the cable lead plugged into the back.. and it is a working lead as when i plug it directly into the TV i get my normal stations.

If you purchased it from the UK it will need to be re-tuned for your area.

You need to follow these instructions:

What you need to do is a POWERSCAN.
Press the MENU button.
Go to INSTALLATION and select USER INSTALLATION
Type in your pin (0000)

Press the YELLOW button for POWERSCAN, and change the mode to NORMAL.
Change the SYMBOL RATE to 6887 for N*L. Change the mode back to FULL.
Now press OK. This will begin the Bruteforce powerscan which can take up to 15 minutes, but it will find all channels on the network.
Once done you should have around 142 TV channels & 33 Radio stations.
You can now sort them into 'FAV' groups.

Have you flashed it? Press menu, config and system info and post what it says. I presume you have a live feed, is it cable or MMDS, where are you in Ireland?

Have you got it plugged into the cable in socket as opposed to the ant in socket?
