hi i have a new programmer (infinity USB) which i have installed to the computer, in nagra edit i am trying to read the card and all i get is this

Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

anyone know what is going wrong?

What type of card are you trying to open? and have you selected phoenix mode?

it is a MOSC but should be opened as it is my current viewing card with box, when i insert card it auto detects a wafercard and i cannot seem to find where to set phoenix mode in infin software??

You need it in phoenix mode not sure where it is on infinity, on dynamite its in utilitys.

i found pheonix mode!! but still no joy this is what I am doing maybe its all wrong!!

I open up infinity software select, peressian2, insert card which then changes it to a wafercard i then select pheonix mode which minimises program to tray i then open nagra edit press the litle envelope with a blue arrow(read card) then all I get is

Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

my programmer is plugged in the USB port, any ideas what is wrong ???

im still struggling if any one can help it would be appreciated, i dont think nagra edit can detect my card plus it says opening com 1 and i have my programmer in usb port if this matters???????????????????????????

just read your post again funcard your selecting? in phoenix mode you dont get to select anything, you open up nagra edit pop in your card and read it, you seem to be mixed up.

You should have got a warning saying that Autodetecting cardsa can erase them.

If it's ur current subb'd card I wouldn't play with it.


But to read MOSC that are open u need to do the following:-

1 ... Put Infinity Software Into Phoenix Mode @ 3.68Mhz (dont use autodetect)

2 ... Open up NagraEdit (I use V 4.1)

3 ... Press the 5th icon (looks like a folder with a standby button)

You should see something like this:-
Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50
30 31 31 20 52 65 76 42 30 44 3C
ROM Revision: 011
EEPROM Revision: RevB0D
CAM Date: 0000
Closing of COM1 was successful

What you get may be different dependng on the card is.
If you get this:-
Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

Then make sure your reader/writer is on com1 .. if not then correct the port in the settings tab.

4 ... Press the 6th Icon (A folder with a blueish arrow on it)

If you get this:-

Opening of COM1 was successful
ATR String: 3F FF 95 00 FF 91 81 71 A0 47 00 44 4E 41 53 50

Then the card is locked and you will required an unlooper (t911/ubomb) to open the card up.

If you get something like this :-

Then the card is open and you can then click on the data tab to access the card info.

think his problem is hes just not sure what type of card it is, perhaps a photo with the numbers covered may help us all

Hi guys i think the card is Prussian2 and not what is described above, please forgive me if i am wrong. The prussian2 is what i use and is plain ol funcard, i only use cheapo programmer and it will only do normal funcards, i know nowt about phoenix programmer but somebody may now be able to help.
