Default Quali TV Help

Hi
I have a qulai TV QS1080 IR that has just arrived. It is not driving my motor as I have a technomate to do that. I need help tuning the quali in to the 4:2:2 Feeds that i need. I can tune it in to the FTA tv channels, and I am able to update the list of Transponders. Is there someting I need to tell the box so it can pick up 4:2:2? Anyone with any advice is welcome

It's been a while since I sold mine, but as I remember, you just scan like any other transponder. It doesn't like duplicate transponder Id's though and they are very easy to corrupt the memory.

Have a look for the EBU-USA feeds on 22w, I seem to remember they are almost always on.

Thanks for the reply lincsat. Unfortunatly, my dish is in the eaves of my roof so I can only make 8W, which is a bummer as I cant get atlantic bird 1. Have managed to pick up a feed for the mosconi on Eutelsat W", but am having massive picture break up on this feed. Am encouraged so will keep trying

Another Question for the forum- When scanning a satellite am I right in thinking you need to input an active transponder? Is any active TP Ok or are some better than others?

Eutelsat W3A at 7.0°E carries majority of EBU's feeds all in 4:2:2

I dont have this receiver, someone here needs to tell you how 2 get into the transponder lists, then it shoud be easy to sort out, that there are no duplicate transponders.Sounds like this might be the problem.

Got a great feed today on Intelsat 12

I defo have signal problems though for Eutelsat W2. (there are a couple of big trees in the way)I can programme the TPs,Pick up the Fta tv channels but am struggling for pictures on the 4:2:2 Feeds. Any signal boosting suggestions (apart from renting a chainsaw) would be welcome.
Thanks for the fedback and help so far. This is a great place
