Default Autoscan or a Powerscan? 2008!

I want to know weather I should do a powerscan or an autoscan, since im new to the world of eurovoxs.

I’ve read on other posts that by doing a powerscan you may loose all your channels, but I presume that a powerscan is better then an autoscan. I have the Eurovox 2008 model with the Oct 29th software.

So can someone advise me on which one to do and tell me what the difference is?

Hello

Do a Powerscan initally to find all the available channels in your area.
Do a Autoscan to find new channels without loosing any settings.

Hope this helps.
