Hmm so in the event of things changing, you would be able to adapt ? But not by downloading new updates from the net?

PPV. Only by scanning for any films etc. ordered in the area though? Not normal ppv?

you download the newest firmware off the net a few times a year, you get the PPV channels for the sky box office live events and the virgin one, but on the others you have to go through the channels to see if one is been shown in your area, the reason you cant get like filmflex,on demand or sky box office movies is that your box eg eurovox etc does not talk back to virgin etc if it did they would no you are been illegal

cheers. yeah this is exactly what i thought.

How does the movie in area thing work then? On the v-i-r-g-i-n website it states you order a film and you can watch it whenever you want within 24 hours? I think thats a good then, as opposed to the old box office where you just paid for it once. If there there for 24 hours i bet theres a better chance of getting one. Whats the signal reach in the area then? I live on a busy main road not quite in the city. Not sure who has cable digital and who would pay for movies around me.

I wonder if it would pick up people who have dodgy samsung boxes that allow you to pick up all the movies anyway?

And would a samsung box be exactly the same with regards to splitting a feed, and no talk back? The only drawback i guess is you cant updaite the firmwarE?
