Going back to dish size i have no problems getting 16e with a 90cm dish in the midlands. I get a solid signal in all weathers bar extremely heavy rain where i lose almost eveything but this usually only happens for about 10 minuetes until it passes

Yes, I think my 88cm would be fine - in fact I would have expected Redoxides 80cm dish to have coped OK in North Bucks - unless the weather was particularly poor last night. Looking at the footprint you are closer to the center the further south you are. May need a bit of a tweak maybe.

Be interesting to see if it remains open for EPL later.

im getting 72% strength today and the picture is remaining stable. so i think my 80cm is right on the border line.
So i think it will be a new dish in the new year. Maybe a Triax 1.1mtr as i have found found them on offer for 49.00 inc a free lnb and free delivery. Not a bad price its a bit big for my present motor (hh90) but it is in a sheltered position so it should be ok for a short while until i get a bigger one.

Certainly if you are cosidering an official subsciption. It's pointless paying out and not been able to watch when the weather turns a bit. Like certain Sky subscribers around here, with their Zone 1 dishes.
