when wver i try to install version 5 or 4 of the pro dvb i get thi error (Could not load tuner device and connect netowrk adapter DVB not started Bda local DVB T-Digital antena.
i am using skystar on vista .Kindly reply

have you installed the latest driver for your card ??, also uninstall all old versions of prog dvb and remove the folders fron c:\program files and if there is a folder in the c drive remove that also.

i have the latest ba drivers from techni sat b/w altdvb is working fine.I read in prog dvb forum tht if you are running vista you need to tune registries but not yet able to find out perfect way to run prog dvb.Prog dvb is not compatible with vista i recon.

Are you looking for terrestrial tv? That is the card driver it is looking for. If it is sat or cable, you need to change the settings in the progdvb .ini file and load the correct drivers for your card.

Which card are you using?

Mate iam using skystar2 With lates Bda Drivers and dish has been mounted towards Hotbird 13.2 E .Its working superb with ALTDVB all plugins but having a problems to get it start on Prog DVB.Mate can you tell me what to change or modify in prog DVB.INI.
B/W Iam using vista 32

If you use windows explorer and select the file Progdvb.ini and choose 'edit' you will get the startup options. The last line should show the selected device. Delete the entry after the = and then when you start Progdvb next time it should ask you for the device. Choose BDA if you are using Vista.

progdvb work fine in vista for me, try to find an old elecard edition of vista, this is a bit more stable
