Hello there, my house is standad vir-gin with the old n-t-l boxes in. Right i have a box in the kitchen part of the house (which im sure would be unaffected) and one in the back room of the house. The front roomsimply has free view.
I would like a digital box in my house but only the one if possible. I know that I will need the cable people to come into my house and make the house ''digital'' (?) But would it be possible to be just have a eurovox box in my bedroom and continue with the 2 analouge boxes downstairs? At most I would have to replace the box in the living room, then Posibbly get one for my room if there was any good deals going around |

So long as your area has digital, most do. I would think virgin would be keen to get you onto digital, possibly for the same price - phone them and ask.
You should be able to just connect a Eurovox in your room with a splitter as I mentioned in one of your other threads.

ye cheers im aware of that. that will probs be the first step.
The second step would be maybe getting a digi box for the back living room but still keeping the old analouge box in the kitchen. Which may be possible without any hassle, coz n t l are not to know that my dads even gone into the connection for the kitchen. yeah theyve always been keen for me 2 go digital, with us thinking (i bet they are!) as we didn really know much about digital. How basic is the splitter i need then? because i have REEMS of this long white cable. not sure if ive got the splitter though. |

Splitters are usually silver and about the size of a matchbox with 3 F sockets, 1 in and 2 out

my mate has a eurovox and it sends video to two TV's, both have different channels on each.
He connects the main tv via scart and the other via TV antenna coax and then he tunes the TV in and gets freeview ??? Both running from the same BOX , worth thinking about
