Setting Up Sats - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi all!

Well after a few weeks faffing around everything seems to be ok now.

However, i have just added 7W on to my sat list and for some reason i cant get the dish to move to it.

All the others are fine. In fact i can go to 30W to 28E and everything in between is fine but not for 7W.

Anything you can think of i am missing??

I have compared all the settings against other sats in the list and all match.

Any help much appreciated!!

Hi Jason,

In the motorised setting, you should be able to select 7W for the satellite you want, and then scroll down to the bottom to 'Go To' to send the dish there if you are using USALS. If using Diseqc 1.2, keep pressing the > or < key within 'Move' until you get a good signal on the sat, and then press OK to save it at the bottom.. Whilst in this menu, you can also do a scan.
