Well, it seems like replies are a little slow here.
I have a ntl model (grey one) which i pay for bband. I have no other computer in the house (although may purchase a laptop in the near future) Is it possible for me to get faster bband??? and if it was possible, would the streams i watch on the net be clearer and better quality, or does that just depend on the stream and the amount of peers sharing? |

You can patch modems to get faster speeds, but VM are attacking modems currently so it's probably not worth spending too much until we know exactly what's going to happen.

TVCOHL, when you do want to have a play with modems get intouch with lincsat he sells the rs leads and patched modems for incredible prices i bought my first things off him and its been well worth it, 2o meg b/b is perfect for torrent downloading and things, Read tuts and anything you are unsure of just ask on here.

Only thing is i dont know the basics with modems, been concentrating on the tv. I hear there catching people for this kind of thing though, and if i got a different modem, i still have to have the gry n-t-l one running dont i ? I only have one pc.... |
