Default Can i make my bband faster?

Well, it seems like replies are a little slow here.

I have a ntl model (grey one) which i pay for bband. I have no other computer in the house (although may purchase a laptop in the near future) Is it possible for me to get faster bband???

and if it was possible, would the streams i watch on the net be clearer and better quality, or does that just depend on the stream and the amount of peers sharing?

You can patch modems to get faster speeds, but VM are attacking modems currently so it's probably not worth spending too much until we know exactly what's going to happen.

cheers, yeah will do hes been great with advice. Thats why im thinking ogf it, for torrent films and stuff instead of taking days!!

Only thing is i dont know the basics with modems, been concentrating on the tv. I hear there catching people for this kind of thing though, and if i got a different modem, i still have to have the gry n-t-l one running dont i ? I only have one pc....
