Default Channel numbers

Hi,

I'm sorry if this is a really crap question (I have searched) but I'll be using my Eurovox with my TiVo and the problem that I know is going to arise is that of channel numbering.

The TiVo requires that the channels are numbered exactly how Virgin media numbers them which I am assuming is like this: h**p://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p7iW9sOilT4w57pZs4z9pGA

But after faffing about with Voxer, Dnupman and the box itself I can't work out how to do it.

Has anyone done anything similar or got any ideas?

Again I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious but it is a right head-scratcher.

Thanks in advance
Steve P.

You should be able to do it with Voxer - from the program manager, drag and drop the channels into the order you need.

It's not just the order, the Eurovox just seems number the channels consecutively whereas Virgin numbers them starting from 101 and there are gaps in the numbering. This the bit I can't figure, there must be some way to do it?

Ah - I see what you mean. I don't think there is any way to do that unless you fill the other channels with junk. Can't you custom program your TIVO, is there an option for a non-sky satellite or even the old ITV Digital.

Thanks for your replies.

There are ways to hack the TiVo and re-number the channels but as soon as the TiVo does it's daily call to download it's EPG (it has a great EPG) it puts them all back again.

I've just been creating empty channels in Voxer which is a bit boring and I'm worried it'll all screw up if I have to update the channels on the Eurovox, will it (I'm new to this)?
