Hi all,

I am having a problem trying to download the latest firmware to my EVox V. The flash loader never goes past "awaiting response from your receiver" window. I have turned on & off the power a few times and programme just hangs.

Trying to download Kuro Beta 2

Any help would be greatly appreciated.........

check your windows setup I have had this before and it was a problem with the com port in windows xp.

Thanks Brian , but all seems fine with the PC as it is locating the prolific usb to serial comm port correctly. I have checked out similar threads but to no avail.....

are you starting the download before you power up? thats what you need to do.

Thanks hoonta, but I am opening the UFL, confirming com 3 and then turning on Evox when pop up window is saying awaiting response from your receiver. I cannot get any further?????

its com port 1 on mine but anyway choose com port then click start download then power box up, hope this helps.

I updated last night and with everything conected I powered up the eurovox then the pc and it worked fine. But I have also powered the Pc then the eurovox. Sorry not much help

Cheers Hoonta, This is excactly what I'm doing but the pc never gets the signal from the Evox and it hangs for hours. I have tried this loads of times. Com 3 on my pc is connected according to my device manager as it recognises the usb/serial converter. I can't get the null modem to use com 1 as it is apparently in use by something else!
Any other ideas please please please

if that doesnt work try the kuro beta 24/ 10/ 07. firmware.
