I have lost the password on a starview box and cannot get past the opening screen i've tried 2004 but this won't work any suggestions for a way around this problem

Dunno about your box, but all those that I have had in the past have had "0000" as the factory set password.

go to parental control ten for your old password input 1068 yhat should do the trick

Think you mean 1668 or 1570 will also do.
