Hi guys

Before I did not have a COM port in my newley built PC, but today I went to a local computer shop and bought one. NOW I DO have a COM port in my PC.

I also have a MAX32 interface, and a 250 modem.

I want to know how I can patch a modem myself.

What programes do I need ?
Where do I start ?

Any help given would be much appreciated.

its all in the haynes cable modem guide ciwan, and you flash the modem using hyperterminal good luck with it mate.

1st problem

I'm on Vista, and Vista doesn't have Hyperterminal, what is the best programe do use in order to get hyperterminal for Vista, cause I hear there are a few !

LooN Vista doesn't have Hyperterminal, but there are other prgrames you could use to do what the Hyperterminal does in XP
