Default Samsung BK using OCD and JTAG

Hi All

I have being using JTAG to extract the BK on a samsung 2100c box.

I used Box Key Extractor v2.2 first, this gave me an ird and BK, but the IRD was incorrect, i checked this against the IRD in the Engineers menu.

The fun card i created would not work at all, so i converted the IRD serial number from Eng menu to ird Key, it now recognises the funcard, but wont update, so no channels.

I believe the BK i have is incorrect.

I now using OCD commander, going to BYTE 02004000 ff gives the IRD and BK for the Pace boxs

What Byte reference would give the BK for the Samsung boxes ?

Thaks for all ya help.

I have used the info from 0x20020004 ff

it gives the following

>byte 20020004 ff
20020004: 3E 4* 4* E* 25 1* DE 0* F7 ** B* 0F 6B AC 94 A1

I have used the first 4 for the ird, which matches the IRD serial from the ENG menu, then the next for the BK. Now some channels are decoding, eg bbc1-3 channel 4, channel 5 etc, but not any of the sky.

Any Ideas ?

I am using the Chaos V3 flash file. i have used this on several boxes, both pace and samsung and it has never taken more than 5mins to decode all channels.

thanks

youve only highlighted 14 digits for the bk,is this intentional to protect your bk as it should be 16 digits

check what software version youve got, the above bytes are for version 3_5

What area are you in ? 20020004 is just for ird. if ronsters bytes didnt work you must be in different area and need those bytes, the nagra ird from eng menu you have to convert to hex and starts with 3E on a sammy.
