Pin number has changed on it's own??

I don't know if i'm getting paranoid but just went to watch a film on sky movies and my pin number has changed-just says incorrect pin but we definitely haven't changed it-can still get sports etc but but won't let us into some of the films which require a pin-box is a samsung smr-2100c

do you mean that you cant access films and brings up a box saying incorrect pin please enter pin number that type of thing?
hi why dont you try 0000 as that is for most peoples boxes duno if it will work but try anyways

nah i know my pin number it's 1234 but tonight trying to watch private ryan, it asks for my pin number due to the adult contect(as it usually does) and i input my pin and and it gives me three attempts then locks for 15 minutes, we don't have kids and my wife says it's not her who's changed it--thing is if i ring the helpline, with us paying for the £20 package, won't vm wonder why i'm trying to watch a sky movie when i'm not subscribed to it?

you can rest the pin yourself even if its a subbd box .short the battery
and use the net fun id and pin files -jtag etc etc

( card or otherwise)

it was modified by a guy, i believe he did something to the box and card to give me all the channels, it was done around three weeks ago and i've not had a problem but this evening we tried to watch a film and on inputting the pin number it told us it was the wrong pin, gave us three attempts and locked us out for 15 mins-if i go to the technical bit in the guide it says pin active-we've been using 1234 since we had the box done and it defo hasn't been changed my any of us--any ideas?

if your in a pure ntl area you can just short the battery and the net id will set itself then you can go into the engineers menu and set a new pin.
If its not pure ntl, excw, ex tw youll have to do the funcard way

if its a subbed box (rental-box) he may not have cut tb and the cable co know what you have been watching and changed it, perhaps they may pay you a visit in the new year?
