Default HDTV - coax cable matter?

Hi,
I have two dishes feeding 1 HD receiver (will soon buy) with 4 satellites with 1 DisEq (Eutelsat W2, Hotbird, Astra 19 & 28).

Currently I use standard coax cable to connect LNBs to DisEq to receiver. Is this ok for HD quality?

Is there any rule on the strength of a signal (quality %) for HD? Any threshold below which you can forget about HD?

thanks for sharing your experiences!

Best use HF100, HF109 or equivilent for HD signals as normal coax has too much signal loss over long runs

thanks for the answer!

Ok, I already have a simple cable installed (was done during renovation a year ago). It is 8m long and goes in the walls. I tried pulling it (it's in a tube), but these coax cables are not flexible, the cable just doesn't move...

So, given that, I just wanted to know if it makes sense to get an HDTV receiver if I have a cable that is not suited for an HD signal or signal is not strong enough to pull HD quality through...

is there a resource out there that talks about all these HD requirements?..
