Default starview pvr recording on to hard drive help

can anyone help me i have a star view pvr with a hard drive install its all set up correct and i can watch any tv channel through it ok. the problem i have is when i come to record with it, when in recording mode all seems ok untill the end of the program if using the EPG to record from i would expexct it box to switch on to standby after the recording has finished but it dosent it stays on with the hard drive running, i have recorded on the harddrive and played back the odd program with no trouble using the record button but if i want to record any more than 1 program continuons throught the timer or the EPG after its finished i go into the menu and all the programs are listed but when i try to play them it brings up a blue screen if i press the i button on the remote it shows the counter dropping down has any one got any ideas why this won t work i have tryed 2 hard drived and the same happens on both of them

Hi ya, I've found if you only record one channel at a time it seems to work better, change to the channel you want to record too and leave it on that channel, also not had time to try it yet but, if you boost the signal with a video/signal booster this is supposed to help. I have the same problem with mine, hit and miss really annoying.
Let me know if you find any more out with try the above.
