Wiring diagram for EZ-2000 positioner

Hi there,

Can anyone help me. I've been given a second hand satellite system for Xmas, but i'm not sure how to wire-up the dish actuator (jaeger mn10) to the SuperJack EZ-2000 Positioner.
The Actuator has 4 coloured wires:-
Blue
Blue/White
Orange/White
Orange

The EZ-2000 has 6 terminals on the rear:-
Motor +
+5V
GND
Motor -
Sensor

If anyone can help me out with the configuration of the wiring I would be very grateful.

Sounds like 2 pairs of wires from actuator. one pair will be the motor, probably via limit switches, they go to motor + and -. The other pair will be direct to a reed switch, they go to sensor and gnd. Be careful, if you connect the reed to motor output by mistake it will fry. If there is a screen around sensor wires that goes to gnd also. Nothing goes to +5. If motor goes wrong direction swap its 2 wires over.

Are the wires all the same thickness? If not the thicker wires would be for the motor. Can you take the actuator apart a little to check where the wires go?

Hi there,

It's all sorted and working fine now.
I took the cover off the back of the actuator and found a wiring diagram in the cover, easy from there.
orange - motor +
orange/white - motor -
blue - gnd
blue/white - sensor
