Default Sorry guys. Looking for some assistance.

Bought a Wharfdale dvd recorder [with hard drive].
I hooked it up to my tv and Eurovox last week but couldn't seem to get the recording part of it working. Due to Christmas, work, etc, I decided to leave it as it was until today.

I've been trying EVERYTHING but can't seem to access the 'set up' menu again. There's a button on the remote for 'set up' and when I press it it appears on the front of the player but all I'm getting on the tv screen is 'no signal'. Tried switching 'source' on tv remote, but without success. The set up worked fine last week and I was able to set language, time, etc.

Does anyone out there have ANY idea what I'm doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance.

This may sound stupid but are you switching tv on first, as it should auto detect scart when you switch dvd on, try unplugging dvd and plugging back in, or maybe try a different scart lead, the no signal sounds like a connection problem.

............turns out there was a fault with the machine.

Took it back to Argos and bought a Philips from Comet. All working fine now.

Thanks again R.D.
