Default chipped n#l boxes

hi all
i have 2 chipped n#t boxes that i used to use but got fed up of paying for people to change the keys on the cards
i bought eurovox max and never looked back
but i have noticed that the old chipped boxes are back and they auto update better than before
is there anyone in the north-east of uk that code do me 2 cards for my boxes
would drop them off or give them info of boxes for them to do them
any advice appreciated
cheers

hiya mate, for what it would cost you to pay someone to prog 2 cards for you, it would be cheaper to do it yourself. trust me it really isn't that hard cos i'm no einstein and i managed it first go. plenty people onhere to help out if you get stuck. buy youself a progger and a couple of cards off lincsat...he seems to be the man!...but in saying that maybe somebody will be full of festive spirit and make you an offer.

Yes most cards now auto update, i would recommend fun cards for newbies as they are cheap and easy to do.

Yup Funcards/Atmegas are cheap as you say and easy enough to programme.

But if you can get hold of a ROM10/11 thats unlocked to Nagra Edit then you may want to consider them.

The AVR cards ( funs/atmegas ) look for the keyrole emm and then process it to write the new keys to external EPROM. Now where they fall down is they do not run a Crypt processor and rom code they look for a "fixed" keyrole string and if it differs then they fall over. So if a MAP call or Bitrole is within the emm they fail. In fact theres loads of ways the cc`s could kill Funatmegas and I am amazed they haven`t.

Pull the red jumper off next to the battery inside box, with box unplugged for a minute then replace, power back on and wait ten mins, if channels now work switch off and back on again holding up and down buttons in till display says diag, then eng menu should show ,set frequency for your area and reset pin using up down left right buttons.
