Well, that was very exciting for just a moment. At least the DM8000 is getting closer to release (assuming that it's *going* to be released). In the meantime, I understand Humax are now doing a Linux-based HD PVR...

I heard that its been shelved as they cannot get an HD tuner licence!

Does this licence problem also apply to the DM800 (the 'smallest and most powerful HD Dreambox' which several retailers claim will 'be here soon..')? Indeed, does anyone know anything much about the 800 at all (all I can gather is that it's an HD version of the 600).
