Hello,
Is there something special I need to do to my DreamBox 500 or to CCcam 2.0.4 in order for it to work with CryptoWorks card from iTVPartner?

Hi, try newcs 1.5 and read the config files for the cryptoworks settings. I understand that Newcs works with the cryptoworks card.

Also make sure the card is inserted chip side down and leave the receiver on one of the providers channels for a few minutes.

Newcs will work as a cardserver with CCcam

Hi Jim,
newcs with CCcam was not enough. Not sure if something was missing in my config file but I've found a solution. Installed MgCamd 1.27 and it worked like a charm.

BTW Do you have any good links on the configuration of MgCam? I guess the next step would be to get the box connected to internet and start a server. That for the next year

!

Thanks for all the help!! In the end it all worked! Now we are sure not to miss the Bulgarian and Russian president's speaches for New Year :-p
