Default HDTV Recommendations

It's approaching my 16th birthday, and I have decided I want to get a 32" HDTV for my room. This HDTV will specifically be used with my PS3. I don't know much about TVs really, but I know it's important that I make the right choice when choosing the TV. My budget can probably go to about £500 but £400-450 would be ideal. I've seen a few Sony Bravia's which go for about £500, but I was wondering whether there are some lesser known websites to buy TVs off at a cheaper rate. If you can give me weblinks to these TVs, it will be much appreciated

Here are my specs (when possible):
- HD-Ready
- Flatscreen
- 780p/1080i
- HDMI Connection(s)
- Contrast ratio of 5000:1 +
- Widescreen (Not 100% needed).

Thanks very much

P.S. would it be worth saving up money until about £600-700. Although, making money is hard for me.

Hi
I've just bought a 37" Panasonic Viera HD LCD, and the picture quality is amazing, a "Which best buy" award as well. Although not the cheapest certaintly in my opinion one of the best, they also do a 32" model. I bought mine from John Lewis and it comes with a 5yr guarantee.

For best prices and comparison sites I use these 2.

This one is great for "hot" bargains on the internet and all shops and also money off vouchers/free delivery etc.

HotUKDeals - Deals

and

Pricerunner a excellent comparison site:

Compare HDTV Compatible TVs Prices - PriceRunner UK

Both are worth a look, and could certaintly save you £££'s

Hope this helps

Well prices are falling. And some of us have a tight budget also.We have a 32 lcd in the front room the wife watches it most of the time.
My sat setup is in the bedroom not much room there.I have managed with a 14 inch portable for the last 15 years.
Anyway i bought a pace xe8100 hd sat reciver. When they came out they were £239 .But software was not very good.So they were being sold off at £99.So that was in my budget margin.
I used it on crt 14 inch and was able to view hd channels. In the meen time pace have updated software a few times and it got better and better IMO.
So i thought i want a hdtv well most were out of my budget. Then knowing what connections i needed i went to ASDA for a look.
And i found an ideal bargain.A bush 15.4 inch hdtv.model lcd15w008hd.
I was amazed at this little set.
15.4 inch, Widescreen, LCD, HDTV-compatible, Stereo

This was only £149 plus i got a pacific 2 channel dvd player for free.
The pace box works great with this bush.Picture quility is very good indead.and the pace reacts to reasolution upscaling.
So for less than £250 i am very happy with my hdtv.
