Never perform a full system reset on an old Sky+ box whilst another is within the vicinity.

The 500GB in my my Sky HD box was 90% full (inc loadsa Christmas stuff and the birds soaps) when I decided to wipe a Sky+ box I was selling. Did it in a hurry and didn't even think about the other box being in range. Everything gone, what a pleb.

u can get it back if you ring sky and ask then they do download from pc
