Hi All,
I have obtained a chipped PS2 game console for kids.
Question: Can any of you nice peeps supply instructions on how to copy games so they can play them on chipped console.
I have tried copy disc method, opening and draging file to new folder and crating data dvd with nero...no joy
Help appreciated

Hi i used to use record now max to back up just used to do a disk to disk copy no dragging of files. just do goggle search on how to back up ps2 + best free program to use do it you get loads of info good luck.

the best prog to use is DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0 works for me everytime

and simple to use but always burn ps2 discs at around 2x unless you use discs like verbatims then i burn at 4x

infact i use dvd decrypter for just about every dvd i burn (iso etc)
i only recently started using verbatims myself and without a doubt the best discs i've ever bought over the past few years

Hi, Thanks for info.
Copied 1 disc using DVD Decripter but the other disc comes up with Not DVD error ???
Will clone dvd do the same and if so where can I obtain software free

Hi just in case you missed this not all games are on dvd disk due to the size easy way to tell dvd are purple or blue been a long time since i saw one cdr games are silver .

this is the way to do ps2 games
1

open dvd decryptor then go to MODE>ISO>READ and then it will copy the game and make an iso file on your pc hdd.

2

when that finishes go to MODE>ISO>WRITE and then select the iso file that decryptor just made. It will burn the file to the dvd

i always do em at 2x or4x depending on the discs
best place for ps2 games is in the newsgroups

Just put the origanal game into the dvd rom drive and a blank dvd+r or dvd-r open nero select dvd copy then burn at speed 4x
